Transylvania - an example for a multi-cultural society?  These pages are the result of a study trip an international group of students undertook in July/August 1998 to discover this land with multiple names: Ardeal, Erdély, Siebenbürgen, Lands beyond the forest, or simply Transylvania.  Website sections include a collection of diverse black and white photographs and 13 essays about aspects of the region including one addressing the physical geography.  [tdh]
