Lakeshore Nature Preserve.   A comprehensive site that covers the history, geography, and ecology of this University of Wisconsin preserve on Lake Mendota.   The site can be navigated in a variety of ways including via a neat interactive map created by the UW-Madison Cartography Lab.  The site includes downloadable reports on the area written over the forty year history of the preserve.  Created by the Lakeshore Nature Preserve Committee, William Cronon, Chair.   [ccr]
